  2. Lithium-ion batteries
    • Lithium-ion, the most common type
    • Lithium iron phosphate, which is more stable but has a lower capacity than lithium-ion

Temperature: High temperatures accelerate the chemical reactions within the battery, reducing its lifespan and overall battery life.


Charging method: The way a battery is charged has a significant impact on its longevity. Fast charging or completely discharging the battery can shorten its expected lifespan, which is important to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.


Proper charging: Batteries should be charged regularly and not be allowed to fully drain before recharging. Avoid leaving them at 100% charge for extended periods, as this can also reduce battery life and ensure a continuous power supply.


Battery maintenance: Regular maintenance and care are crucial to ensure optimal performance and a longer lifespan. This includes periodically checking the battery for any damage or corrosion, and properly disposing of batteries at the end of their life cycle, as they contain hazardous chemicals that can harm the environment if not handled properly.
